Linda Hynes

Linda advises on all aspects of the employment law relationship from recruitment to termination and everything in between. Her expertise includes advising on grievances, investigations and disciplinary procedures, changes to terms and conditions, unfair dismissals, wage claims, restructuring and transfer of undertakings. In addition, she is a certified practitioner in data protection and advises clients on data protection compliance including dealing with access requests and data breaches, transfers of data abroad and using data for marketing purposes, and regularly provides internal employment law and data protection training to clients and their teams. She also advises on business immigration issues including work permits, secondments and global mobility. Linda is a graduate of NUI Galway, where she obtained bachelor’s and post-graduate degrees in law. She holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland and is also qualified as a mediator with the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland. She is qualified to practice in Ireland, England and Wales. Chambers has described her as ‘well respected’ with ‘expertise in data protection issues’.
