Orly Gerbi established and is the head of the firm's Labour and Employment Law Department. Orly has almost 25 years of experience in the field and is regarded as the leading employment law attorney in Israel. Orly is a leading authority in advising and representing international and domestic clients, in the public and private sectors, on all aspects of labour and employment law and labour relations, as well as employee benefits, executive compensation, collective relations, pensions, privacy and immigration. Orly also has vast experience in employment-related litigation and dispute resolution, and represents Israeli and international companies in complex labour disputes before various courts and tribunals.
Orly frequently lectures on employment law issues both in Israel and abroad. Orly appears as the Israeli representative at prominent academic institutions, seminars and professional employment forums outside Israel such as the Cambridge Forum, and serves as the co-editor of the Employment and Industrial Relations Law Committee of the IBA Newsletter.
Orly has been consistently ranked as one of Israel’s leading lawyers in the labour and employee benefits area in all of the international and domestic legal directories such as Legal 500, Chambers Global as well as in "Who's Who Legal", where she is ranked as a 'Global Elite Thought Leader' in the Labour Employment & Benefits 2020 practice area, a 'Thought Leader' in Labour & Employment and a 'Future Leader' in the Corporate Immigration 2020 practice area. Orly's department has won the Chambers Editors 2019 Awards in Labour and Employment, and individually, Orly has won the Lexology Client Choice Awards 2019 and the "Experts Guide". Orly is the only lawyer in Israel to be ranked as a leading lawyer by all the guides, without exception. Orly has been elected time and again as a board member of the Israeli Society for Labour Law and Social Security. In addition, she has been the leader of the Employment and Labour Law Forum of the ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel) for many years and is academic training coordinator for the Israeli Bar Association.
