Silvia Figueiredo Araújo

Ms. Araújo also provides counsel on international transfer of employees and on special employment circumstances, including confidentiality agreements and non-compete obligations, especially within the IT industry. She has experience assisting clients with the labour aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A due diligence. She also handles union negotiations and compliance investigations, including investigations as preparation for termination of employment with cause. Ms. Araújo’s litigation experience includes representing employers before the Labour Court and other civil authorities such as the Ministry of Labour and the Public Attorney’s Office, where she has argued cases involving complicated labour issues, class actions and investigation processes.
