Ornella Patané holds a law degree from the University of Catania and a master’s degree in international law from the University of Trento. She was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2003. She provides advice on a wide variety of employment issues including the dismissal of executives and directors, restrictive covenants, company policies, drafting contracts for high-level employees, disciplinary procedures, reviewing contract compliance with local legislation, guiding companies in individual and collective redundancies and in transfers of undertakings. She often manages cross-border employment law projects, coordinating Ius Laboris law firms from various countries to provide streamlined assistance to Italian multinational companies.
Ornella is an accomplished public speaker, having spoken at various client and industry seminars, and has written and contributed to various international employment law publications. She has been seconded on two occasions to Ius Laboris firms. Ornella is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association and the Italian Employment Lawyers Association.
