My work covers a range of employment law issues advising employers with contentious and non-contentious matters. This includes advice about company policies, employee initiatives, dealing with sensitive exits, disciplinaries, grievances, changes to terms and conditions and family rights issues. I also have experience of defending Employment Tribunal proceedings and providing support and advice on claims such as unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing.
I am part of the TUPE group and support clients with procedural and strategic approaches to such changes; I am also in the International Group and have experience of co-ordinating large scale international projects. I support our corporate department with employment advice relating to transactional work and corporate deals.
My clients are from a wide variety of sectors - my training contract employment experience was a mix of private and public sector such as local NHS Trusts and the Welsh Government. I have a particular interest in Media and Entertainment having worked in the industry before becoming a solicitor.
