Marcela Salazar is the co-head of the firm's Labour and Corporate Immigration Group. She provides proactive day-to-day counsel on employment, labour and corporate immigration law. She has wide experience in assisting national and multinational companies in hiring and termination of employees, subcontracting and outsourcing, internal investigations, incentive plans, labour auditing, expatriate workers and visas.
She advises clients in a variety of industries including technology and communications, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, financial services, beverages, IT, banking, and the mining industry. Additionally, she engages in pro bono legal work, including labour legal assistance to foundations aimed at improving education in vulnerable neighbourhoods.
Marcela has been awarded a scholarship for a Master of Labour Law and Relations at the University of Sydney, Australia. She has also been recognized by The Legal 500.
