Henri-François Lenaerts

Henri-François specialises in labour and employment law and advises clients in particular on company restructuring (closure, collective dismissal and transfer), relations with trades unions and their representatives, employment (including choice of status, protective systems, and harassment at work issues) and dismissals. He also provides assistance to companies during social inspections, such as inspections regarding social security and well-being at work. He has published numerous books and articles and regularly leads seminars on those topics.

Henri-François graduated from the University of Louvain (magna cum laude) and obtained a special degree in labour and economic law at the University of Ghent (cum laude). He started his career as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar in 1991 with the firm Loeff Claeys Verbeke and was a founding partner of Claeys & Engels at its inception in January 2001.
