Sandija Novicka

Sandija Novicka has extensive experience in the taxation of employee compensation and benefits, and in particular the tax aspects of cross-border employment situations. She is one of Latvia’s leading experts in the taxation of stocks and stock options granted to Latvian employees under international equity compensation plans. Sandija advised the start-up industry and representatives of the Latvian Parliament during legislative work on amendments to the Personal Income Tax Law dealing with the taxation of stock options. Sandija is ranked by Chambers Europe and Legal 500 as a leading tax lawyer in Latvia. She is a member of the Board of the Latvian Tax Consultants Association and a member of the Foreign Investors’ Council in Latvia Tax Work Group.
