Maria Lianides Çelebi joined Bener Law Office as a partner in 2005. She manages a team of dedicated immigration professionals handling all manner of immigration matters for many Fortune 500 companies located in Turkey.

Maria has been listed in the International Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers and Employment Lawyers since 2010. She was chair of the Global Migration Section of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AILA) from 2011-2014, and is the past chair of the AILA Rome District Chapter and a past member of the International Operations and Ethics National Committee. She is the Turkey member for the Alliance of Business Immigration Lawyers, a past chair of the Ius Laboris International Expert Group for Immigration and the work permit advisor for the American Business Forum Turkey (AmCham). She has authored a white paper and several articles regarding US and Turkish immigration law and speaks several times a year at international conferences.
