Jorge De Presno

Jorge has 39 years of experience as a trial lawyer, strategist and counsellor in both individual and collective employment matters. He heads Basham’s labour and employment practice group. Jorge has been listed as a benchmark lawyer in the national and international legal community by associations such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal, among others. He is a member of the board of directors of the Inter-American Bar Association (FIA) and served as its president of the from 2008 through 2009. He is also a past president of the FIA’s Labour and Social Security Law Committee, and is an active member of the labour and employment law committees of several professional associations. He has also served as the coordinator of the labour and employment and social security committee of the Mexican Bar Association.
