George Z. Georgiou

George is a highly respected litigator in Cyprus with a reputation as a first-class advocate. He is considered an expert on Cypriot employment and pensions law, providing specialist legal advice and representing the largest financial institutions and international and local companies in Cyprus. He represents clients in court, mediation, administrative proceedings, and at meetings with trade unions. He provides specialist advice on employment law and pensions in relation to the privatisation of semi-governmental organisations. In addition, he provides restructuring advice to clients and assists with client strategy, and coordinates other professional advisers in relation to the same. George regularly lectures and writes (in both English and Greek) on Cypriot employment and pensions law.

George appears as an expert witness in relation to Cyprus law, and is a mediator and arbitrator. He is also a member of the London Court of International Arbitration, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the Cyprus Arbitration and Mediation Centre.
