Cristián Olavarría

Cristián Olavarría's labour and employment experience extends for over 20 years. With an expertise in public and labour law, he works with some of the biggest companies in Chile in matters of individual and collective labour law and complex labour litigation. He also has extensive experience in collective negotiations in a number of different sectors: large investment and consulting companies, the banking and finance sector, airlines, food industry, media, IT and delivery services companies.

Mr. Olavarría has been professor of labour law for postgraduate and labour law masters programs at the Universidad de Los Andes, and has authored numerous articles on labour matters in academic magazines. He also advises employers’ associations and has been a speaker at various law conferences. He has been recognized by Chambers & Partners.
