Richard has extensive experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including senior executive recruitment and exits, collective redundancies, complex disciplinary and grievance procedures, changing terms and conditions and agency workers' rights. He also has considerable experience defending clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, regularly advising on claims of unfair dismissal, discrimination, trade union detriment and whistleblowing.
His international work includes advising a multinational manufacturing organisation on a cross-border restructuring exercise involving redundancies in numerous countries across EMEA, and advising a US-based multinational corporation on the employment and labour aspects of a number of corporate acquisitions in the technology sector.
