Forces for Change

In 2020, our lawyers around the world worked tirelessly to give their clients COVID-related advice. In 2021, we asked them to look beyond the more immediate issues and offer insights into the future of work.

For the 2021 edition of The Word 2021: Forces for Change, we conducted research involving over 500 clients based in more than 25 countries around the world. Amongst the results, we found that our client respondents are not wholly daunted by COVID-19, despite the immense pressures it puts on them: 38% think the changes accelerated by COVID-19 will be positive in the long run, with only 8% thinking the reverse. In this edition of The Word, we take a look at this longer perspective and offer employers insights and guidance for the road ahead.

The Word 2021 covers a whole range of topics on the world of work and we hope you will find it useful and engaging. Download the full publication just below or read it online at the end of this page.
