Jack is noted for the deep understanding he brings to matters across a range of industries including mining, manufacturing, construction and tertiary education sectors. Jack’s advice is practical, commercial and focused on long term workplace outcomes.
Jack is involved in the development of industrial relations strategies, the negotiation and interpretation of collective industrial instruments and restructures. He acts for clients in the Federal Court on some leading industrial law test cases, and regularly appears in the Fair Work Commission where he helps clients resolve collective and individual employee disputes. He has expertise in workplace health and safety and is experienced in responding to safety incidents, managing safety investigations, dealing with regulatory authorities and conducting legal proceedings. Jack advises and appears in Coronial inquests, and conducts WHS training.
