Expert advice on redundancies, data privacy and worker wellbeing
Ann advises employers in individual and collective labour issues and assists clients on a daily basis with respect to hiring, employing and firing employees. She has specialised in a number of sub-areas, including restructuring of companies with multiple redundancies, negotiations with employee representatives, and legislation regarding the wellbeing of workers.
Ann advises regularly regarding privacy and the processing of personal data in a national and international context. She is a regular speaker at internal and external seminars and has published numerous legal articles. She is co-author of the annual publication ‘Actief Eindigen’. Ann is also a member of the Personnel Managers Club and the International Practice Group on Individual Employments Rights in Ius Laboris. Ann graduated from the University of Ghent in 1991 and obtained a special degree in labour and economic law at the same university in 1992. The same year she started her career as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
